Heartbreaking Loss

My heart is still heavy after hearing about Matthew Perry's death at the age of 54 this weekend. WAY TOO YOUNG! How devastating of a loss for his family and friends. 

I was lucky to meet Matthew a few times over the years - this was the better of the pictures. He was arriving for a Q&A for his show Go On and was in a great mood.

When Keith and I travel (which, as most people know, is A LOT), our comfort TV show in any city is Friends. It's a calming, welcome, and hysterical distraction from whatever level of exhaustion we happen to be feeling at the time. Perry's Chandler Bing is a big part of that. I

Before he hit big with Friends, I remember all the TV pilots Matthew was on because he always stood out to me. I enjoyed watching him and was glad when he finally found his big break. 

R.I.P. Matthew. You'll be missed.

Ten Years Ago Today

Ten years ago today, Keith and I got married!

I can't believe how quickly the time has passed by. We have had so many adventures together - can't wait to see what life has in store for us next!

We got back from Nerd Con just in time to attend a screening of The Kid at the Topanga Film Festival.

Keith did a Q&A after the film and it went great! He did an amazing job.

Holy Sea Lions!

When we were driving to my dad's the other day, we came across all these sea lions practically on the side of the road! 

What makes them choose new areas to reside in, I wonder? So fascinating! We usually drive way up the coast to see them (which we actually did last week, but there weren't very many there). So cool.

Old Friends

The best part about the wedding this weekend was probably seeing my good friend Ashkan and his new girlfriend.

I hadn't seen him in forever! So fun to catch up.
