Farewell, Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso has quickly become one of my all-time favorite shows over the past three seasons and I look upon viewing the finale with total and complete dread.

That being said, we still have ONE MORE EPISODE to watch and I'm excited about that! I'm just sad for it to be over. It was such a beautiful, kind, lovely show that just put a smile on my face and made me feel hopeful for the world instead of the opposite. Thank you, Jason & Brendan, for bringing this masterpiece to life. You should be incredibly proud.

Max Casella

So fun seeing Max Casella the other night at an FYC event for Tulsa King.

The best part was as we were waiting for a picture, Max recognized Keith and said, "Keith Coogan! Do you remember me?" We were floored! Of course he remembers! Max is an amazing actor to watch onscreen and we've loved his performance in Tulsa King.

I'm obsessed with this painting. They offered it as a class at a local painting place, but we couldn't swing the date.

I'm going to keep my eyes out for another class - I just love it!

I love when you don't know something is happening and then you check your picture to discover the BEST PHOTOBOMB EVER!!!

We went to see David Dastmalchian at an event last night and were pleasantly surprised that Steve Agee was also there - I missed an opportunity to meet him years ago and have been kicking myself ever since! When we were trying to snap a picture with David, I had no idea Steve was in the background photobombing us! Love it!

Skating Queen

For my second birthday party, I had a roller skating party in my hometown. It was SO fun! 

Had a blast! Although skating was SO MUCH HARDER than I remember! Yikes, when did it get so hard?

Huge thanks to my awesome hubby, Keith, for being such a trooper over the past few weeks. Two birthday parties, one big road trip, and approximately 273 stops later and phew! We're wiped out.

But 50 is a big one and I couldn't have asked for a better partner to help celebrate my crazy. Thanks, love!

Lisa Loeb for the WIN!

You guys, can I tell you how much I love Lisa Loeb? Ever since I first heard "Stay" during Reality Bites (one of my all-time favorite movies), I've been obsessed with her. I LOVED her TV show #1 Single and that's where my Hello Kitty love began! Lisa loves Hello Kitty and the more I watched her and saw how cute it was, the more I loved it. Over the years, my love for Hello Kitty has just grown and grown.

So, it was a full-circle moment when Lisa was at my work last year and saw what most people refer to as my "Hello Kitty car." She left me a note telling me how much she loved my car and we've been trying to get together ever since. Thankfully she did a little concert near us on Sunday and I was able to go! Loved it! So fun seeing her perform live with The Hollow Trees - they killed it! Lisa is a delight and such a positive person. Adore her.

Dylan Playfair

So awesome seeing Dylan Playfair at an FYC event last month! I knew he looked familiar, but I wasn't sure...thankfully my friend Viv gave me a little push and wahoo! He's from a bunch of shows I love.

He's also the nicest guy around! Loved meeting him!

Shakeys for the WIN

So....in order for me to be OK with turning 50, I've pretty much decided that I need to celebrate it as much as possible before I cry.

I had a really hard time trying to figure out the best thing to do for both my LA friends and my hometown friends. Finally, we decided on a Shakeys pizza party for the LA friends and then a roller skating party in my hometown! Last weekend was the Shakeys party and I was so stoked to see so many family and friends there. I had my besties from kindergarten there which was so cool! Thank you to everyone who came and looking forward to the next!

During the first season of the show, I was OBSESSED with meeting Brett - he still looks super grumpy in both of these pics, but I guess that's his brand, right? Love him!

His mom hosted a lovely dinner at a restaurant over on Melrose. Lovely night!

Engagement Anniversary
