Socially Distanced Date

Last night we had a socially distanced date to celebrate our engagement anniversary (seven years!).
We got take out from Olive Garden (they even waited on us!) and just being in the convertible was a dream! Seriously, it's always such an amazing feeling when the top comes down and all your cares melt away.
We went and parked along a neighborhood with a nice little view of the city, shared an entree, and watched a movie. Perfect way to get out of the mundane existence of our place. Fun time!

Current Obsession: Run

Oh my gosh, you guys. I love finding a TV show that I can't get enough of. Current obsession is a fairly new show on HBO called Run starring Domhall Gleason and Merritt Weaver.
The show starts out with one of them texting "Run" to the other one. When she types "Run" back, they both catch the next flights, trains, what have you, to get to their pre-arranged meeting spot and run away from their lives. It's mysterious, fascinating, romantic, funny, and a fun adventure. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Watch This: The Quarantine Bunch

My apologies, I didn't realize it'd been so long since I'd posted. I've been feeling a little under the weather and have been lying low. However, I'm super excited to share Keith's latest project with you! It's called The Quarantine Bunch and it's about a bunch of child stars in a support group connecting via Zoom.
It's a lot of fun! You can watch it on their website (thequarantinebunch.com) or on their YouTube channel. New episodes drop every Wednesday and Friday at 3pm PST.

Farewell

As if the world wasn't crazy and terrible enough right now, last Thursday my stepdad, Mike, passed away. It was a huge blow to our family and I'm still in shock.
Mike was an incredible companion to my Mom and he loved her so much. For over 20 years they did everything together. He was kind, funny, loyal, sarcastic, loving, and hard-working. He loved my Mom more than anything else and this picture describes their relationship perfectly. I'm so incredibly sad, especially for my Mom, and want nothing more than to be with her right now. This sucks.

Hi

I don't really have anything to say. I have a bunch of stuff to do for school and seem to have developed a little wheeze. Also, it's raining and it has been raining all week, which feels gloomy.

Hope you are well.

Thanks, Mom!

My mom sent us some yummy treats while we're quarantined.
Thanks, Mom! We love you!

I Love You, Schitt's Creek

Talk about a straggler. I mean, seriously. What a way to miss out on a good time! For years people told me to watch Schitt's Creek and I was like, "Yeah, yeah, sure, I will." And I did mean to...someday. But, I'll admit I wasn't in a rush to do so. You know, there's a lot of good TV on right now and only a limited amount of time. So...yeah. But, last year there was an FYC event for the show which featured Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Dan Levy, and Annie Murphy and I was DYING to meet Eugene Levy because I love the American Pie movies (don't judge me).

So, Keith and I went to the event and about five minutes after the episode played I looked at him and was like, "We're watching this show now, right?" And we basically went home and binged five seasons immediately and become OBSESSED. We bought T-shirts. We quoted the show. We bought and regularly play, "A Little Bit Alexis" in our car. We are crazy, crazy fans now. And we're proud of that! Finding out the cast would be at the Emmys was SO exciting and allowed me to meet even more of the cast and I couldn't be more excited about that.

Tonight is the final episode and it's bittersweet because we love the show so much. I wish it would go on forever, but at the same time, I think it's the perfect show. Thank you Dan and Eugene. Thanks to everyone involved with the show. Thank you. We love you. And we appreciate you.

Today is Canceled

I think we can all agree that right now is NOT the time for April Fools jokes. Like, seriously, no one is in the mood.
The first thing I saw when I woke up was some idiot who thought pretending to have Corona virus would be a funny prank. THERE IS NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT THAT!!! Karma, do your thing.

Hi

I was going to pop on yesterday, but I just didn't have very much to say. And I still really don't. But, I wanted to say hi. Hope you are well.
