Tiger King

As we all have some extra time right now, may I suggest binge watching Tiger King on Netflix?
We finished the seven episode docuseries last night and WOW! What a ride. These people are CRAZY!!! Makes for great viewing! Check it out if you get a chance - I believe Netflix has a free trial period if you don't currently have a subscription. Enjoy!

What Is A Weekend?

I don't know about you, but I'm finding it incredibly difficult to determine what day it is. When you're home all the time, how can you tell when the weekend starts?
My one difference is that I don't need to have two computers up and running all day, only one. My school laptop. My work laptop can stay closed until Monday. That being said, I'm going to take a break from all computers tomorrow, so I'll catch you again next week. I hope you are well.

Learning Something New

Did I tell you I'm taking an Introduction to Drawing course this semester? I probably have. But, have I shared with you my amazing (read: sarcasm) drawings?
I'm pretty proud of the paper towel roll and the honey bear isn't terrible, but that Skippy jar sucks. An artist should be open to criticism, right? Even if it's her own? :)

Hero

My husband is a HERO! Yesterday he braved several stores to bring us back some yummy food options and, most importantly, some toilet paper!
Hey, it's good to get excited about something, right? He also made the most delicious dinner last night AND the best breakfast today. #spoiled

Now, if only I could stop feeling so tired all the time...

Hope you are well. xo

Tuesday

So, after attempting to do my "normal" blog post yesterday, I have to admit it still felt really weird amidst the crazy time we're living in. While we're under mandatory quarantine, I would still like to post, but will most likely just post little updates here and there.
We're still adjusting to being home all the time and what that brings. I lucked out at a store yesterday, which was awesome, although we should probably try to get some more toilet paper at some point. For now we're OK. On Sunday we took a drive to put my Mini Cooper through its drive cycles so I could get it smogged. We drove it over to Valencia and picked up some Cafe Rio while we were there, which was delicious! Man, I miss that. Wish there were some closer to us. Yesterday I was able to get it smogged and get some things notarized which I'd been putting off. It felt very productive! Today I got our flights re-arranged for the shows which were rescheduled, so that's a relief. All around we're fine, so far. Looking forward to when we can go out again!

Beautiful New Addition

While searching for supplies the other day, we came across this beautiful jeweled flamingo. I love it!
While I knew it wasn't really a necessity, how could I pass up such a beautiful addition to our place?!

Pinky's Fandance - Melissa Joan Hart

Over the years I've had many opportunities to meet Melissa Joan Hart and she's always incredibly fan friendly.
In fact, I can't remember a single time when she wasn't totally sweet. Love that!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I hope she heard from a plethora of people after this to NEVER make that pose again.
I can't even wrap my head around what she's wearing.
Are those slippers? Why is she being strangled by tinsel?
It's not a black dress! Hooray!
Stunning!

Taking a Beat

The world feels like it changed overnight. I'm not sure what that means for this blog right now, as I don't really feel as though I have much to say, nor does it feel right to post funny pics or make fun of clothes.
Perhaps I'm looking at this the wrong way and this is exactly the time I should be doing those things. I don't know. I'm adjusting to working from home. I'm figuring out my new semester and trying not to freak out over the scary news every few minutes. I'll be back soon in some way, I'm sure, but for right now I'm not sure what any of this means.

Jason's Birthday Party

Had a great time at Jason Lively's birthday party the other night! We played pool, had some laughs, and caught up with old friends. Glad we went. One last hurrah before hunkering down forever.

Pinky's Fandance - Joey King

I first met Joey King around the time she was in Ramona & Beezus. She was an adorable little sprite and very sweet.
Since then, every time I've seen her she's continued to be such a kind, generous spirit. Despite all of her success, she remains down-to-earth and I couldn't appreciate it more.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I didn't even recognize her here! And why is her hair blonde and all raggedy? Blech.
Katie must be so sick of being photographed every time she leaves the shouse.
Did she take the cover of her grandma's couch and make a dress?
Cute jacket!
Is her cauldron nearby?

Grocery Store Run-In

As we were prepping for the end of the world the other night at the grocery store, we ran into the lovely Obba Batatunde - such a wonderful guy!
It's always funny to run into someone at the store, but this was especially comical considering we were all coronavirus shopping. He gave us some great tips! Such a sweetheart.

Pinky's Fandance - Jake Borelli

Jake Borelli is very fan friendly. This is the second year I've seen him at this party and he's always very prompt and willing to come over to the fan pit.
He recently filmed a gay rom-com and it looks cute! Hope his character gets some cojones on the show.

Happy Birthday, Ava!

Our youngest niece, Ava, is turning 12 today!
Happy birthday, sweetie girl! We love you!
