I know I haven't been posting a lot lately. I'm on a holiday break from both work and my horrendous semester of school and enjoying not being on the computer for a bit. I will try to check in when I can. For now, I hope you're having a fabulous holiday season!

Best Gifts Ever

I have the best friends ever! So many fun and unique gifts have been showing up at our door.

Christi sent me this adorable gift with the cutest pajamas ever. I mean, a flamingo around my neck? Come on. Let's just say I live in these now.

Megan sent this fun package with snuggly socks, poo-pouri and hand sanitizer. Love!

My girl Gin sent me the most beautiful necklace wrapped up like this.

In addition to the necklace, she included a gift card to my fave restaurant, Outback. YUM! Can't wait to use it!

It's hard to see, but this is the necklace. Love it!

Finally, my friend Rachelle sent these super fun items. The jammies are so soft and snuggly and I love the socks and the pillow! I feel so loved and spoiled by all!

R.I.P. David Lander

We lost a legend last week when David L. Lander passed away. While I do have a few pictures with him, I feel like this one is the best one of all. 

Growing up, Laverne & Shirley was my jam. There was nothing I wanted more than to grow up and have a giant "K" on my sweater just like Laverne's iconic "L." Lenny & Squiggy provided non-stop laughs and almost always stole the show. The fact that my husband was able to drink milk * Pepsi with Laverne and act with Squiggy still blows my mind. R.I.P. David. You'll be missed.

Dishes are Done, Man Ornaments

We launched these handmade ornaments (made by us!) last week on Keith's website and fans seemed to love them - we had a bunch of orders!

I love anytime I get to do something creative with my husband and this was no exception. We were so excited to ship them out and couldn't wait for them to arrive in people's hands. Love seeing all the pics people have posted of their trees with our ornaments hanging on them.

Dinner with Friends

My good friend Jenny and her hubby were in town, so we grabbed a bite with them last week.

It was a really windy night, but we all had a really nice time. Always great to see friends!

Deep Dish for the WIN!!!

Our amazing friend Melanie surprised us with a box filled with deep dish Chicago pizzas! Plus, a few days later we received some Garretts popcorn. SO delish!

Watch This: The Great

Oh my gosh, you guys, have you seen The Great on Hulu?? It is SPECTACULAR!!! What a fun show!

I'd heard it was really good, but had no idea just how good until we started watching it this week. What a hoot! The show stars Elle Fanning as Catherine the Great and her arranged marriage to Emperor Phillip (played by Nicholas Hoult). It is vulgar, campy, raunchy, hilarious, shocking, and fun. If you get a chance, check it out! 
 

Migraine City USA

Apologies for the delay in posts this week, but I've been nursing a horrendous migraine that still isn't completely gone.

On the plus side, we've been binge watching a bunch of great shows, so I'm going to share about those.

The Tree is Up!

We put up our tree this weekend! So stoked! Definitely earlier than usual - even before December! Score!

Flowers in Bloom

Keith planted this super cool plant and it flowered the other day. How gorgeous are the flowers? 

They seem to bloom quickly and then disappear almost as fast as they appeared, but not before changing colors. So cool!
 

Eggnog French Toast

We tried eggnog french toast this weekend and it was so delicious!

Definitely something we'll need to try again.

The Cards are Done, Man!

I almost forgot to mention that our cards were sent out last week, per tradition.

Since we're not seeing our co-workers, we had to mail out a bit more than usual....over 350 in the mail!

Such a relief to get these out! Yay!

Thanksgiving Fun

Normally we go to this awesome buffet on Thanksgiving, but since things are a bit different this year, we went "old school" and my sister cooked a great meal.

It was so nice to see our oldest nephew, Spens, and get to spend some time with him.
