When I was very young, I had a favorite show that only ran for one season. It was called Out of the Blue and it was about an angel who came to live with a family. Hijinx ensue. You know the kind.
I LOVED this show. It was one of the first shows I remember just loving SO MUCH and when it was canceled, my little brain couldn't even process what that meant. I would ask my mom practically every day
(or at least every week when it would usually run) when it would be back. I probably drove her bonkers, especially because it was never coming back.
Imagine my surprise and delight at the comedy show last week to discover that one of the comedians was Jimmy Brogan, who was the star of that show! I'd already been shocked to discover that our good friend Tammy Lauren was one of the kids, but now I was able to meet the angel himself?!?!?! Merry Christmas to me!
