There are some people so big, so larger than life, that you don't believe meeting them is ever a real possibility. Having loved Cher pretty much forever (and especially after Moonstruck), this was a really big deal.
It was at an anniversary screening of
Moonstruck, in fact, where she was giving an introduction. As soon as she was done, I jumped up from my front row seat, and got right next to her as she exited the theater. When I clicked the camera, it was pitch black around us and I had no idea if it would even turn out. To say it was a miracle is an understatement
