So, a pretty big thing happened this weekend...I finally met my #1 unicorn, Jim Carrey!!! My love for Jim Carrey goes back as far as I can remember. Our family used to gather together on Sunday nights and watch him on In Living Color - he was definitely our favorite by far ("Let me tell you something!").
Since then I've continued to support his career and love how multi-faceted he is. His artwork is inspiring and in general I just find him to be so fascinating and incredible. I love how he handles himself and I just love him.
The event was a big one and I'm not entirely sure how I managed to finagle a picture - other than he saw what I was hoping he'd see - the true love and admiration in my eyes. I actually got to thank him for his work and said, "I just love you." and he said, "I love you, too." Yes, I know it's all not real, but his eyes were warm and his smile was big. Thank you, Jim, for making my whole day, and for all you share with the world. You are phenomenal.
P.S. Yes, I know the pics are less than perfect, but they were really hard to come by and I'm just thrilled I was able to get anything.
