Last, but certainly not least, here are a few final tidbits from our anniversary trip!
First, we couldn't be in Cambria without visiting one of our favorite haunts - Montello! Their olive oils and balsamic vinegars are TO DIE FOR.
Especially this one....our fave by far.
So fun and easy to cook with and is a great butter replacement.
My sister turned us onto this gem of a place - delish! Now we always stop and bring some home for the family.
This is hard to see, but I thought it was funny that Buellton / Solvang even went so far as to have a hotel called "Sideways." Capitalize much?
They also claimed to have their own scarecrow festival, so of course we had to check it out on the way home.
Sadly, this was one of the few scarecrows we could find. Nice try, Solvang. Better luck next year!
