Black Angus for the WIN

Black Angus has always been a sad memory for me as I remember wanting to go there as a child (maybe for my tenth birthday?). My parents would always take me out to a different steakhouse for dinner (since it's my favorite food) and Black Angus was next on the list. I was so excited...I waited and waited...and then, before we even had the chance to go, it burned down in our town. NOOOOO!
Now, at some point, I think we were finally able to go years and years later, but it wasn't a memorable experience. This time we had a coupon and we came prepared. What a great experience! The garlic cheese toast alone was enough to make it the best meal ever. Seriously, their bread is HEAVEN.
You also get regular Sweet Molasses Bread which is also delish.
See how excited Keith was after his meal?? :)
Cheesy selfie outside the restaurant.
The Cowboy Cookie dessert brought it all home. YUM!

Pinky's Fandance - Rizwan Manji

Years ago there was a show on NBC called Outsourced which I LOVED. Like, I've watched it again on the NBC archives I loved it so much.
While I was super lucky to attend an event with the whole cast, I somehow missed Rizwan entirely. He walked by me but I didn't know his name so I couldn't call it out and missed him entirely. I was so bummed and have been hoping to meet him ever since (that was like seven years ago).
Happily, he was a surprise guest at the event I was attending a few weeks ago and I finally had my shot at meeting him! Squee!

Procrastination Station

While I've always been a major procrastinator, it feels like it's getting way worse. I cannot seem to focus on anything for any amount of time (wait, what was I talking about?).
The worse it gets, the less things I want to do. I don't understand how to motivate myself into changing this behavior. I've read so many articles on how to change and yet it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions? Help!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to Sunday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Why, hello, Jen! Nice to see her out and about.
Are they in the same show? Strange pairing.
Jackson Maine & Aly reunited! Woot!!!
This background is spectacular.
See, what did I tell you? Silver. Fox.

The Never-ending Sort Of Sickness

I feel like I've been on the verge of being sick for at least a month now. It's so annoying. I'm not sick enough to stay home and recover, but I'm not well enough to not have a sore throat, runny nose, or annoying cough all the time. It feels like I'm always on the cusp of being full-blown sick, but haven't quite made it there yet.
Does that make sense? I'm also super tired, which isn't helping things. Since I can't get all the way sick, it seems as though I can't get all the way better, either. Catch 22! What fun!

Pinky's Fandance - Amy Adams

I first met Amy at Sundance a million years ago while she was promoting one of her early films, Junebug, in which she excelled (of course)
She was such a sweetheart and I'm pretty sure gave her email out to my friend. That's how friendly she was back then. In the last few years, she's been kinda stand-offish, so it was nice to see her embrace her friendly side again. Always a huge fan of her work.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Dear Almost Newlyweds: I still can't believe you're getting married. Congrats!
Dear Tyra: There are way too many clashing patterns in this outfit.
Dear Christoph: Ooh, velvety soft.
Dear Nic: Um.....what's going on with your hair?
Dear Chrissy: I love everything about that color.

Screening Fun

Last night Keith and I attended a screening of a film he really wanted to see.
Now, I'm not going to tell you the name of it so as not to besmirch it (I wasn't really a fan), but based on the panel after the screening, you can probably figure it out.
The Q&A was lively and not too long, despite being moderated by my least favorite moderator. Overall it was a fun night, especially after getting some fun pics!

Pinky's Fandance - Steve Carell

Considering how hard it was to get my old unicorn, Steve Carell, to begin with, it was almost funny how easy it was to get one last night.
In fact, I only went to the movie screening because Keith was dying to see it. We weren't even sure which cast members would be there. When I saw Steve onstage, I knew I had to try for a picture, but didn't realize it'd be so easy. I was stoked! Plus, he's such a silver fox right now! When did that happen?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Why so glum, Sandy? Not into lime green?
This dress looks like it was partially made at K-Mart and partially ad libbed. I don't get it.
Did this used to be some pretty curtains?
The color theme is nice.....?
I have no response to this.
