Insecure Event

One of my favorite shows is Insecure on HBO and so I was thrilled to be able to attend a screening and panel discussion with the cast.

The set-up at the event was beautiful. Check out these gorgeous flowers! They even matched the flowers on the stage and all around the area.

Now, we attend a lot of these things, but it was a pleasant surprise to hear the stories shared during their time onstage. They were lively, funny, interesting, and didn't sound like the same thing they've said a hundred times before in interviews.

I was also trying to figure out if the two main leads were wearing the same shoes for most of the panel. This isn't a great picture of their shoes, but they were basically identical.

Really enjoyed the evening! Plus, the cast was super friendly and totally mingled after the Q&A. That always get high marks in my book!
