For months I've been hearing how amazing The Big Sick is and have been dying to see it. As it finally came out on DVD, I finally had the chance (since we'd been traveling when it was in theaters).
The film is about the unique courtship between Kumail Nanjiani
(from Silicon Valley) and Emily Gordon who is now his wife. While they were dating, she fell into a coma.
The film is beautifully told and full of humorous, touching moments. Of course it was made by Judd Apatow - as his work always has this beautiful heart in the center of it. We always seem to be drawn in by his work and this was no exception. Well done to the cast, crew, and everyone involved. Loved it!
