We had a great breakfast at a local restaurant on the morning of our third day and then headed out for a drive around the island.
Even the trailer parks are gorgeous!
If you look really close, you can see a lighthouse.
Whee!
After the drive, we took a longer drive into town to visit Fort Macon State Park.

After a delicious pizza dinner, we ended the night early, packed, and went to bed
(since we had to get up at 3am to get me to the airport in time for my flight and the airport was three hours away). I'm so happy to have the time with these amazing girls and will treasure it forever.
