Gone to the Beach...

My college roommates (who also happen to be some of my closest friends) and I are off to a beach house in North Carolina for a girl's weekend. Don't be jealous.
Don't worry, I still have tons of pictures from Salt Lake Comic Con to share, along with the new ones from this weekend. Wish me luck with flying and being away from Keith for so long. Not excited about either thing, although it's going to be awesome to see my girls. Until then...

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

So, my Dad is a HUGE Dodgers fan. He loves going to games and was given some tickets by his boss for Hello Kitty night at the Dodgers game. Of course we had to go.
Now, was it a struggle, due to my exhaustion? Yes. But we had a great time (despite not getting a Hello Kitty bag because they are freaking lame).
I did enjoy seeing Hello Kitty throw out the first pitch.

How great is this shirt? Looking sharp, dad! Thanks for taking me! I love you.

Pinky's Fandance - Joan Cusack (!!!)

By far, the person I wanted to meet most of all at the Salt Lake Comic Con was Joan Cusack. I've loved her for so long!
Thankfully the show was able to find a way where we could have a quick meet and greet and it was a delight.
My favorite part about this picture (aside from my insane smile which shows you just how excited I was) is that you can see half of John Cusack's face in the background (top right). Does that count as a double shot? Ha ha ha.

Salt Lake Friends - Squee!

We ended up seeing a few great friends and awesome family while we were in Salt Lake - squee!
Angie and Debra both came over at night (which means no pictures because we are pretty much dead by nightfall after a show). It was so great to see everyone!
Shmegan was smart and came Saturday morning for breakfast. That way she got us bright eyed and bushy tailed (whatever that means).
We gave her this awesome apron. :)
Our breakfast was heaven! She'd never had eggs benedict before, so I introduced her to something new and delish.
It even came with yummy hot chocolate!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Formal shorts should not be a thing.
No shirt, gladiator shoes, and a really ugly skirt? That's what you went with?
The Bee-Gees called. They'd like their look back.
When would these ever be needed? Chaps? Really? With a bathing suit? No.
Oh, Celine. You're ridiculous.

Salt Lake Comic Con Fun - Part One

Wow! What an incredible adventure! We truly feel so very fortunate to have been a part of Salt Lake Comic Con - it really was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we loved every second of it.
Did I tell you I signed a few autographs? Ha! I got pulled into four different professional photo ops, so of course we had to autograph them afterwards!
This was my attempt at getting the SLC logo behind us. I totally failed.
Fun with poses.
I LOVE that she brought this for Keith to sign!
Speaking of cool things to sign....
Did you know my husband will sign boobs for no extra charge??
Love her shirt!
Someone even had a counter stand from the old video stores. So neat!

Pinky's Fandance - Jess Harnell

Jess Harnell is one of the talented voices from The Animaniacs and we actually met him in Dallas last year, but failed to get a picture. This time I wasn't making that mistake again.
Since he was at the press conference with Keith, I took the opportunity to grab a quick picture with him backstage. Such a fun guy! He comes to Salt Lake Comic Con every year. Oh, that we could be so lucky!

Salt Lake Comic Con Pre-Con Fun

We had such a great time at Salt Lake Comic Con! Truly one of the best conventions we've ever attended (if not the best!).
We arrived in Salt Lake City the morning of the convention around 2am. We needed to be at the convention hall by 11am for a press conference.
This was Keith doing interviews after the press conference.
Super cool Lego Wonder Woman!
With our awesome contact, Tiffany Tilton, and Dan Farr, one of the founders of the show (pictured here with his son). Such amazing people!
Keith was gifted with the coolest backpack care package filled with all kinds of treats. It even had his name on it!
How cool is the sign?!?!
With Tiffany and Dan.
Dan and Keith.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Oh, honey. I'm so sorry you're having a mid-life crisis after the end of Masters of Sex, but peroxide blonde is not the best look for you. Please go home and dye your hair back immediately. K, thx, bye.
She's basically just a bouquet of flowers, right?
Um.....curtains? Is she about to do a magic trick?
Egads! We get it, Ariel. You've got breasts. Congratulations. We just don't need to see them all the time. No, it's not a matter of not letting you be you, we're just sick of seeing them.
She's about to go and mime somewhere, right?
