Colorado Springs Comic Con - Part Two

Additional documentation of our weekend in Colorado Springs...
These folks were so much fun. I loved that they were all wearing their Goonies gear that day.
Pauly Shore!
We met a guy who was wearing this outfit as one...we broke it into two parts.
However, Keith did borrow the glasses for his pic....
I just stuck to the glasses. When in Colorado, right?
Jeremy Palko is on The Walking Dead and a super cool guy.
This guy made a balloon animal for Keith. That's all I have to say about that.

Pinky's Fandance - Adrienne Barbeau

Adrienne Barbeau played Rizzo on Broadway and was also in the television show Maude.
She was also our neighbor at Colorado Springs Comic Con! Loved her spread and how kind she was to everyone.

Colorado Springs Comic Con - Part One

We spent last weekend at Colorado Springs Comic Con where Keith was one of the celebrity guests. While I fear we *may* never recover from this trip (what a long haul!), it was a successful journey overall.
Here was our table all set up on the first day.
This is a deep fried Oreo. It was a delight.
Keith LOVED it. They kept bringing them around and we couldn't have been happier.
Cheese!
The booth across from us sold Pokemon hats. I wanted to get one so bad, but none looked that cute on my head.
This girl was a HUGE fan of Keith's! I'm so glad she was able to come and meet him.
This logo made me uncomfortable.
This shirt cracked me up.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Why does she have strings coming down her shorts? Ick. Make it stop.
I love these two together.
Hooray! Love 1D members who still hook up fans.
Why is Pierce grinning like that? Is it because he's wearing women's shoes?
They both look very cool and polished. Very debonair.

Visiting the Fam

We stayed with my mom during the first night of our trip after braving a lightning storm that scared us half to death. We, unfortunately, failed to take any pictures together at my mom's.
The next night we stayed at my brother Paulie's new digs in Colorado.
We just happened to be there for our niece Zoey's birthday which was really neat.
Birthday breakfast with the littles!
Birthday girl! Yes, I know, I shared this adorable picture yesterday, but I wanted to point out the birthday girl ribbon we gave her.
Fun fact: Streets in Colorado can be named by a letter and a fraction. Whoever thought that system up was on some pretty serious crack.

Pinky's Fandance - Chris Sarandon

Aside from Billy Dee Williams (who we didn't get to meet unfortunately), the person I was most excited to see at the convention was Chris Sarandon. Prince Humperdink himself!
As it happened, his booth was right behind ours which worked out well! Our friend Lance is his handler and was kind enough to let us take a picture with Chris. Score!

Long Long Long Long Long Drive

We got back home around 10pm on Monday night after being on the road since Wednesday. To say we're tired is the understatement of the year.
Keith did all the driving like a champ.
The landscape was gorgeous...it was just very, very long.
We saw so many gorgeous places on our way!
Of course, this ad came up as we were passing Moab and it felt pretty gross. Stop tracking me!
It's hard to see, but this is a Welcome to Colorado sign. I was pretty excited to see the leaving Colorado sign when it was all over. :)

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I wonder if he made that sweatshirt up himself on a heat press machine? Looks like something we could have made at home.
Twins!
Nice jammies.
Speaking of jammies....
This picture makes me so happy. I like to imagine J.Lo just lounging around in slouchy clothes like a normal.
