Japanese Dining

We received a last minute dinner invitation to celebrate our friend Ryan's birthday. At first we were thinking we'd need the time to pack, but ended up getting everything done in time to attend the dinner.
I'm so glad we did! I haven't really had too much of the fun dining where they cook your food in front of you. What a meal!
Seriously, it was SO good. Kinda spendy, but totally worth it.
Our chef was super fun.
The birthday boy and his fam.
Onion volcano!
Sparkler!
Claudia joined in on the fun.
Group shot!
Keith and Claudia.

Pinky's Fandance - Dylan Minnette

I loved Dylan Minnette on the movie he did with Steve Carell and I'm excited about watching his new Netflix series called 13 Reasons Why.
It was a total suprise to see him at this event and I was stoked! Really nice guy.

Hottie Alert

My sister surprised me with this shirt since we used to hate-watch this show every Sunday morning growing up. Man, it still makes me cringe.
Keith was out of shirts last night, so I suggested he rock it. Looks great, right?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to Sunday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Now, this is a classy pregnancy look. Very well done.
I love Jake and Ryan's bromance.
Squee! The director and star of The Virgin Suicides together again!
Pretty sure her "shirt" is a camisole meant to be worn under something else. But, what do I know.
Do you think TC is eating his heart out?!?

Notice Anything Familiar?

Not too long ago, Keith received a request from The Goldbergs to use the Adventures in Babysitting poster as part of their set design. Of course he jumped at the chance! I mean, seriously, this is the second time the movie has been referenced on the show and we couldn't be more excited. OK, fine, if Keith was actually a guest star on the show we'd be even more excited, but I digress.
The request came in last minute and they still needed to get the entire cast to sign off on it, so we weren't really sure it would happen. But, hooray! It looks like it all worked out. If you look in the top left corner, you'll see the poster. So cool! Thanks, Adam F. Goldberg!

Pinky's Fandance Redux - Kerris Dorsey

Kerris Dorsey played Calista Flockhart's daughter on Brothers and Sisters and did an awesome job.
She's also great on Ray Donovan and everything else I've seen her in. I was able to meet her twice last year - once at an FYC screening for Ray Donovan and the other time at the BAFTA brunch during Emmys weekend.
She's super nice and from the looks of it, may be dating one of her co-stars from a past movie (but I don't know for sure, so that's all I'm going to say about that).

Viral Shampoo for the Win!

So, I'm not sure if I'd told you yet, but after way too much breakage, I've decided to stop coloring my hair. That is, having Keith bleach it and then color it - not only does that make Keith miserable, but it's also stressful and the bleach isn't great on my hair in the long run.
Still, the blonde was pretty boring. And I'm growing out my roots, which is going to cause me all kinds of stress and I'm going to want to cover them up every chance I get. While I'm still sticking to the no dyeing rule, I recently discovered something wonderful - Viral hair shampoo!
I tried the hot pink color last night and after one shampoo, this is how it came out. So cool! So easy! I've gotta try the light pink next - I love it! Now I can have the best of both worlds. Wahoo!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
The tennis shoes really add some flair to the outfit, no?
When did Nicole turn 83?
I love how Owen is not-so-subtlety filming the paps who are taking his picture.
They're both rocking their "hair around the house" looks.
Speaking of going casual...Amanda might be wearing a robe.

We Loved Love!

Last night we finished bingeing the second season of Love on Netflix and, just as we were last season, we are totally and completely in love with it. ALL the puns intended. Love it!
Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust do a spectacular job as Mickey and Gus and you're simultaneously rooting for them to break up and get back together.
Sometimes they make really horrible decisions and other times they annoy the crap out of you. They just might be two of the most realistic characters on TV and sometimes that makes watching the show uncomfortable. It's also what makes it great.
As an added bonus (to me at least), David Spade was on the show this season. Squee! Already miss it and can't wait for season three.

Pinky's Fandance - Niles Fitch

Niles Fitch plays the teenage Randall on This Is Us and I was so worried I missed him at the finale premiere!
By the time he arrived, they started having people arrive in the back, so we totally missed him going in. Had we not gotten the "golden ticket" to go into the event, I would have missed him and only have five of the six kids. Thankfully, he was super cool and more than happy to pose. Score!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Wow, if you go from Zac's face to Matt's face and then back again, Matt looks less and less attractive. Next time, don't stand next to Zac, Matt.
Another Home Ec project gone wrong...
He obviously looks uncomfortable in that suit. Perhaps he should take it off. :) We won't mind.
Another '70s look from Vanessa? How rare. HA!
Ethan, we're still hoping for a smile over here!
