New Do

As Keith was coloring my hair last night (side note: how amazing is this pink color?!?! It's my DREAM PINK hue!), we had some leftover bleach, so he decided to mix things up a bit!
Behold my blonde hubby! Woot woot!

Pinky's Fandance - Yael Stone

Throughout the years, I've built up a pretty solid collection of Orange is the New Black cast members. The one I've been missing, however, is Yael Stone, who plays Lorna Morello on the show and is pretty much my favorite character. I love seeing all the trouble she gets into!
We had a chance to go to a Q&A she was scheduled to appear at right when we got back from Sundance and I was just too tired to go. Thankfully, I was able to meet her a few days later at the Pre-SAG EW party. Hooray! I was SO SO SO SO excited! Thank you, Yael, for making my whole night!

Judges

So, last night we were judges for a stand-up comedy contest which we'll be judging again next week for both the semi-finals and the finals.
Please note this picture above is not an actual picture of us last night, just an example of judges. :)
Huge thanks to our friend Dante for getting us the fun gig!
This was one of our fellow judges - he was a blast! Super fun night!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I love you, Ruby Rose.
Why do I never run into Reese when she's out on her errands?
I love you so, Hugh.
Just how much product does he need to get his hair to do that?!?!
Hair goals.

Best. Purchase. Ever.

While at Sundance, I discovered the greatest invention ever. It's called a Lumee and it lights up the front of your iPhone. It's magic.
I used it this weekend at a night-time event and it was perfect. Plus, the lights attract celebs! Love it!

Pinky's Fandance - Jon Hamm

Just in case you were wondering, no, I'll never have enough selfies with Jon Hamm....
especially when he's wearing a pink beanie!!! Hello!!! Heart officially melted.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Ooh, I love seeing Jon all comfy....like I can imagine him all snug as a bug on his couch.
Is her dress made out of trash bags?
Even Buzz can't believe what John is wearing.
It's nice to see them happily married and looking so comfortable together...Oh, wait.
Look who cut his hair! Long time no see, Brand.

Sundance Pals

Although the encounters were far too brief, I did get to see a few friends while we were at the fest.
My girl, Brittany.
Gareth and Shaunie.
Alfred.
These hats cracked me up.
Brad and Heidi.
Pants!
Trevor.
Dor.
This hottie.
Same hottie.
Our sad faces at all the snow.

Pinky's Fandance - Breeda Wool

Breeda Wool was outstanding on the first season of UnREAL and it was awesome to finally be able to meet her.
I was worried I wouldn't be able to recognize her, but thankfully that didn't turn out to be the case. She was so nice! Love her.

Call Me By Your Name

So, I only ended up seeing one movie at Sundance which is, well, whatever. Honestly, I wasn't really there for films this time, so it was totally fine. Still, I wish I'd watched one that didn't confuse me so much.
The film was called Call Me By Your Name and starred Armie Hammer (who was supposed to be 24 in the film...ahem...) and Timothee Chalamet. Both were great in their respective roles and the scenery - set in Italy - was gorgeous. But the film didn't resonate with me the way apparently it is with everyone else. I keep seeing these glorious reviews which is confusing because Heidi and I weren't really fans. I mean, yes, it was beautiful. Yes, the acting was well done. But, it was slllllooooowwww. And it needed an editor. It just went on and on and on.
Still, I'm always happy to experience new things and see new films, so I'm really grateful for the opportunity to see it. I just wish I'd loved it a little bit more.
