Holiday Tree

Keith's mom really wanted to get a family picture with a Christmas tree while we were all together, so we headed over to the mall on Black Friday to get one.

Pinky's Fandance - Camryn Manheim

I've been fortunate to meet Camryn Manheim several times over the years and she is a pleasure to meet. Seriously, one of the nicest celebs ever.
I feel it's important to thank people when they do things that stand out, so this time I thanked her for always being so nice. She said it was her pleasure and she's happy people still want their pictures with her. How sweet is that?!?! Love her.

Hacksaw Ridge

We saw Hacksaw Ridge on Thanksgiving morning and boy was it bloody.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great film that was very well done, but man, it's really graphic. So graphic, in fact, that I have no idea how anyone survives being in a war and then having a "regular" life afterwards. Seems impossible.
Andrew Garfield did a fine job in the lead role, but my fave person in the film was probably Vince Vaughn. He always kills me.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Uma looks like a totally different person with that hair!
Love the dress, but the scowl (or whatever her face is doing) has got to go.
This is not attractive at all.
My eyes! My eyes are bleeding!
Oooh, shiny.

Thanksgiving Fun

We spent Thanksgiving dinner and night with Keith's family.
They made a delicious meal and it was nice to spend some time with his mom on her actual birthday.
I thought this was going to be a nice selfie when we were taking it....alas....it was not.
My big strong man cutting the bird!
Let's just pretend that my cake writing skills are much better than they actually are.
Keith's mom with her boys...

Pinky's Fandance - Patrick Muldoon

When I was in high school, Patrick Muldoon was hanging on my wall. I mean, obviously, not the actual Patrick Muldoon, but a cheesy bathing suit picture of him (I think) with a pack of guys. I have no idea why I liked that picture. Maybe they were clothed. I can't remember. It was a million years ago, you know.
Although I'd met him once before, it was fun to see him again at Rewind Con. His booth wasn't too far from ours.
He starred on Days of our Lives as the original Austin and he'll always be Austin to me.

Family Photos

We tried to grab a few pictures on Thanksgiving of our little family and got a bit of a Thanksgiving miracle.
Sammy normally tries to bow out of every picture and won't even look at the camera (see how he's trying to push himself away?!?!).
But in this picture he's practically looking at the camera! I'll take it! Hooray! He's so freaking cute.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Considering they're in a movie about space, I LOVE that J.Law wore a star on her dress. Top notch!
How many smurfs had to die for this coat?
Is she carrying a stuffed animal? Really?!?!
His hair is....interesting?!?!?
Since they're on a show called Gotham, they basically HAD to attend the Gotham awards, right? Like it was probably mandatory I'm guessing. :)

Thanksgiving Morning

As I'd mentioned last week, my sister still isn't talking to me. But, I didn't want that to get in the way of at least spending some time with my dad on Thanksgiving (since we almost always spend the holiday together).
He'd mentioned wanting to see a movie, so we went down for an early breakfast and then headed to the movie theater. Glad we were able to spend some time with him! I would have been super bummed not to see him at all that day.
Obviously, Keith is taking his Star Wars jacket a little *too* seriously. LOL.
