I'm not sure if I've told you this before, but we live in a very horse-friendly neighborhood. Not only are we down the street from the equestrian center, but there are actual horse lanes on our streets. Most of our neighbors have stables or horses, but this was truly unique.
On our way out last night, one of our neighbors flagged us down to come and see something. As we aproached, we saw this tiny little foal. It had been born last weekend and had just learned to walk two days ago.
Not only was he walking, but he was running all around. It was fascinating. Here was this wee thing who had just barely been born and he was already so excited to be running. Such a beautiful thing to behold.
