The other night we had the opportunity to attend the FYC event for The Wiz. Although initially not registered in the event, I became interested when it said there'd be a live musical presentation.
The panel was very lively and entertaining. At first they were only showing clips, but no music was being performed. We were a bit let down.
Then, they sang a few songs. It was fun. No reception, no DVD, and no real mingling with the cast, but it was fairly entertaining all the same. I wish I'd been able to find the NBC President who introduced the panel before he ran out - I was going to follow him out and say, "WHY no
Mysteries of Laura?!?! WHY!?!?" I'm sure that would've gone over like a barrel of lead.
