Danielle Brooks plays one of my favorite characters on Orange is the New Black named Taystee. I love the way her character cares so much for her friends and those around her. She's got a huge heart.
This was the second time I'd met Danielle and she's awesome in person. Our first picture was super blurry, so I was hoping to get a better one this time. Sadly, this one is also a tad bit blurry, but no matter. I'm kicking myself because she was walking with Jenji Kohan - the genius who created the show
(as well as Weeds!) - and I totally missed my chance to fangirl out on her. FAIL.
