Like most of the country, this week I've become fascinated with the Rachel Dolezal case - you know, the white lady who was essentially lying about her color in order to be the President of the Spokane NAACP.
I'm not sure what's so interesting about this case to me or why I find myself reading every article that comes out. Initially it was because I thought she was still married (to a black man) and I couldn't understand how he would be on board with this whole thing. Now that it looks like she's single, it makes a bit more sense.I'm not here to criticize, or belittle her or anything like that. I'm just a bit confused by everything she says and the lies she seems to be saying to anyone who will listen. I'm not denying it's her right to be whomever she'd like; I guess it's the dishonesty about it that's the issue. I don't know.
These comics just made me laugh. The extremes she took with her hair were insane!
