For our anniversary dinner, we were lucky to have been gifted with some money to treat ourselves to our fave place - Outback. As there weren't any Outbacks in Monterey, we had to slag over to Salinas and go to the one there.
Sadly, it was the probably the worst experience I've ever had at an Outback. Our server was atrocious and they ruined my steak. Even worse? Despite providing feedback on their website, I've heard nothing back, which is really horrible customer service.
Still, Keith and I had fun. Look at his cute face eating his lobster
(his food was fine, thank goodness).
Even though we told the server we were celebrating, they did nothing special for us, so we stopped on the way back to the hotel and got some yummy supplies for strawberry shortcake. It was perfect! YUM!
