Back in 2002, I was lucky enough to meet Matt Damon at a Project Greenlight party. He was ridiculously nice, we talked for like ten minutes, and at the end of our conversation he not only remembered my name, but he gave me a hat like the one he's wearing in this picture.
To this day, whenever anyone asks who the nicest celebrity is, I say Matt Damon, because I enjoyed our experience so much. In fact, I was a little bit leery of ever seeing him again because I didn't want to ruin that memory.
I'm thrilled to report that 12 years later, Matt is just as cool as he was before. Maybe even more so. Watching him greet fans, sign autographs, and pose for pictures with everyone who wanted one was simply amazing. Seriously, it was impressive.
Everyone was getting so many things signed as well as pictures, that I thought I should get an autograph, too, while he was there. Love it!
When I took our first pic (the one way above), it looked like it went blurry, so I tried again. This one has him laughing, but me looking like a crazy person. Fail. Oh, well. At least it's better than the one taken on a disposable camera in 2002 where we're super washed out!
