It's no secret that I LOVE all things SNL - even when it's bad, it's good. I love it. I especially love meeting cast members, although it's usually when they're no longer on the show anymore and are back in LA (like Molly Shannon, Will Ferrell, David Spade, etc.).
A few weeks ago I saw a random Tweet with a picture of Beck Bennett performing the night before in LA at the UCB theater. Um, what?!?! Instantly I became obsessed - I had to meet him! I knew I had limited time before he'd be heading back to NYC for
SNL, so I started scouring the internet for shows he might be at. Kyle Mooney is his buddy and they're both in an improv group together, so I started there. Went to UCB when Kyle had a show. Afterwards, stoked to meet Kyle, didn't see Beck. Then I saw John Milhiser
(recently fired from SNL) had a show, so we went to that. Again, stoked to meet John, didn't see Beck. Then I saw Brooks Wheelan
(recently fired from SNL) had a show, so we went to that. Again, stoked to meet Brooks, didn't see Beck. Every day I was searching
(don't judge me) for shows he might attend. FINALLY I got a tweet from UCB saying he was performing with Kyle last night. Finally! I was so nervous it wasn't going to work out, but it went great! Plus, I got the joint shot with him and Kyle that I LOVE.
Of course I had to make a collage of all my recent
SNL successes
(as Beck would say in his commercials in a totally deadpan way, "Of course, why wouldn't you?). Kyle and Beck will be heading back to
SNL soon - SO happy to have met them!!! :)

(which is why I redid the collage). :)
