To say our birthday excursion was anything less than heavenly would be an understatement. Although we'd thoroughly enjoyed everything we'd done up until the last night, I have to say that our second hotel really took the entire experience to a new level.
Not only did our OCEAN FRONT room have rose petals when you walked in....
but there were balloons
(I guess Congrats is the same as Happy Birthday in hotel-speak?)...
A big, perfectly fluffy bed....
chocolate dipped strawberries....
a gorgeous view and fireplace....
Oh, did I mention the view? IT WAS THE OCEAN. RIGHT THERE. IN FRONT OF US. This was our balcony!
And to make it even MORE exquisiste....we had our own private hot tub. Yep, heaven.
To make our insides just as happy, we had a wonderful meal at McLintock's, a delicious steakhouse.
All together now...YUMMMMMMM.
As a birthday surprise
(or not-so-surprise, since I told him to tell our waitress it was my birthday...ahem....), we got a fun dessert!
Cheese!
And then back to our paradise, I mean hotel, where we watched the sun set in our fluffy robes. BLISS!
