While it's true that I've met Dawson James on several occasions over the years and have always been super impressed with him and his fan-friendly ways, I have to admit that I was even more impressed with him during our last encounter.
From the time he arrived, he had kids in his arms. Being mindful of not wanting to photograph his children, I said I'd really like to get a picture when he wasn't carrying his child. He went into the event and I told him I enjoyed his new show, which he appreciated. Not too long after
(probably due to kids needing naps), his little family was leaving and, again, he had a child in his arms. I reiterated how much I wanted a pic and he said he'd put down his child at valet and come back. True to his word, he took his child outside, came back and took a picture with me. Class act all the way!
