If you can believe it, it was only one short year ago that I took a huge leap of faith and flew across the country to hang out here....
in a Castle...yeah, a Castle. I endured flying adventures, car rental adventures, and all sorts of drama just for the opportunity to hang out with this cute boy for the weekend....
Maybe you recognize him? At the time, I just called him Keith
(not my HUSBAND as I do now).
I flew out to be his "booth bitch" at the Chiller show and we had a blast.
By the end of the weekend, we drove into New York for dinner...
where we had the most amazing Chinese food we've ever had. It was incredible.
We drove through Times Square and were consumed by an energy that together we could do anything and our lives were just one big adventure waiting to happen.

Can you believe it's been an entire year since we got engaged
(and six months since we got married)?!?! I wonder what would've happened if I'd never taken that chance to go to New Jersey. Would we even still be dating? Glad we'll never have to wonder. Happy Anniversary, babe! Thank you for asking me to be your wife.
