Yesterday we both had to miss work because our stupid old Energizer bunny of a car has decided to stop working. Slowly but surely it's knocking things out one at a time...First, the battery. Then, the tires.
This time it was the spark plugs
(the original ones from 256,000 miles ago, I should add) that all went out at once. Although it was a fairly minor fix
(thank goodness), when it started sputtering, it felt a lot worse than that. We weren't even sure we'd make it to the mechanic.
Now, sadly, we also need brakes. Great. That should be a fun little chunk of money down the drain. On the plus side, at least our "Check Engine Light" is finally off - it's been on for the past year! UGH.
