No One Really Uses This, Do They???

As my husband is a coffee-a-holic, I know how important getting a fresh cup of joe is in the morning, especially when time is running short. However, I'm not sure we'd ever stoop this low.
I mean, come on. Making a cup of coffee while using the same shower you're bathing in?!?! TOO FAR. I even wish the girl on the box brewed her coffee somewhere else.

Pinky's Fandance - Matt Groening

If you've ever seen an episode of The Simpsons, then you've seen Matt Groening's name all over the place, as he's the creator of that crazy family headed by Homer and Marge.
In the past, I've had horrible encounters with two of his main stars, Nancy Cartwright (the WORST person on earth) and Dan Castellaneta (he almost dethroned Nancy as the WORST celeb ever), although I did have a fairly good experience with Yeardley Smith. Matt was so nice that it took everything out of me not to tell him about his jackass employees, but I was good. I resisted!

Does He Think We Won't Notice?

Dear Jason,

I'm a bit confused by your hair choice as of late. You see, America grew to love you as downtrodden and overreactive, George on Seinfeld, who, I might remind you, was BALD. As are you.
Now, I get it. You want to look younger, you want to feel spry and attractive, fine. But, sweetie, that ship has sailed. You're bald and we all know. Take the wig off and embrace it. Because it's too late to try and "Travolta-fy" your head now. Nice try, though.

Sincerely,
Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Do you think she's trying to channel Audrey Hepburn, or is it totally by accident? Either way somebody needs to get her to a hospital stat.
Is she wearing the logo for the Target chocolate line?
Obviously, Pharrell is feeling very happy today (see what I did there?). That hat size seems to suit him much better.
Considering this girl's last name is Swan, the bird-like arms are a bit much.
Ladies and gentlemen, Tori's transformation into Janet the Muppet is about 99% complete.

Celebration Time

To celebrate our engagement anniversary last night, I surprised Keith with the Tower of Terror version of the game Clue, which we'd just been talking about.
I think he was pretty excited to see it.
It was perfect since we'd not only just been talking about the game, but we just rode the Tower of Terror, as well.
After work we celebrated by going to a local Chinese place.
Perfect night! Delicious dinner, great company, fun times.

Pinky's Fandance - Ty Pennington

It's always surprising to me just how normal and down to earth Ty Pennington seems in person.
I'm so used to seeing him on TV on Extreme Home Make-over and all the screaming in that darned megaphone. This was the second time meeting him and I was, once again, surprised at how nice he was. Not complaining by any means...just making an observation. :)

Cutest. Plant. Ever.

The other day I received a surprise box on my front door that said, "Caution! Live plants." Not having any idea what it could be, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this adorable little plant sent over from Shmeg.
The plant only needs to be watered once a week - now that's my kind of upkeep! :) Love it. Thanks, Shmeg!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Isn't that the part that's worn UNDER the dress?
Ah....the dreaded Laundry Day. We've all been there.
Apparently Gere leaving her has left her a frumpled mess.
Amy's dress is the cutest thing ever. LOVE.
As if I needed another reason not to like her, Anne's shirt says, "No Smoking" in a variety of ways. Gag.

Awesome Anniversary

My husband is so freaking cute. For our anniversary, he got me the sweetest card....
(Really I just like to see the words "Mrs. Coogan" written out anytime....makes me smile)
Inside the card, the figures moved their heads together! Adorable!
I was spoiled rotten with not one, but two dozen pink roses - my favorite!
So gorgeous!
Of course I had to get another shot once we got home and they started to bloom.
All my treats - including two ponchos for when we go back to Disneyland (so we don't get so wet!). Love it all! Thanks, babe!

Pinky's Fandance - Nick Cave

By far, Nick Cave had the best response to the, "Can I please get a picture with you?" question this year at Sundance. Instead of the usual, "Sure," "OK," or (my least favorite), "If you make it quick," he replied with, "Shit yeah!"
He was so friendly and cool. Made me wish he taught a class to other celebrities on how they should be to fans. Seriously, I was really impressed.

Baby Shower Time

This weekend was the baby shower for one of my best friends in the entire world, Jewster.
She looked adorable and the shower was a lot of fun with great food.
Always love to see my girls!
Here's Julie and Scott holding up the baby blanket I made for their upcoming arrival.
I didn't take any pics of the games, but I was in charge of them and let's just say I "Phobe'd them up" a bit. If you ever watched Friends when Phoebe was in charge of cups and ice, then you'll know what I'm talking about.

All in all, it was a good day. Big props to my supportive husband Keith for not only helping with the game preparation and driving me to the shower, but for dyeing my hair that morning (bleaching the roots and all) since the color was getting super wonky. Love you, babe!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Of course Fassy shows up to Sundance LONDON. Blurgh.
In a strange twist of events, NPH is wearing more make-up than Katy.
It totally throws me off to see Mad Men characters hanging out together in present time. Don Draper would never be caught dead in that scarf.
Holy crap. I will drive her to the hospital myself....that girl is ready to pop!
I wonder if they make that suit in a woman's version, as well?
