Man, I used to love Gimme a Break when I was growing up. I loved all the sisters, and Nell Carter, and Joey Lawrence. It was a great show and a lot of fun.
I was blown away recently to discover that the lovely lady we'd been talking to at a party played the middle sister, Julie, on
Gimme a Break. But as soon as I learned about it, I could start to see it - her face started morphing into the character right before my eyes.
Is that weird? Did I just overshare? Laurie was a total sweetheart and we even have mutual friends in common. So cool!
