Ava's Disneyland Birthday

As I mentioned last week, we met up with my brother's family on Friday for a fun day at Disneyland in honor of Little Miss Ava's 6th birthday.

Of course, Keith and I had to get our "photo opp" in with the Birthday Princess right away.

The MAIN thing Ava wanted to do was to meet the Frozen princesses. Here she is with Anna. SO adorable!

We rode the teacups! And immediately got sick to our stomachs...those things go fast!

During the parade, so many of the characters wished Ava a happy birthday because of her Birthday Button (which let everyone know it was her birthday). She was so excited! This is Ariel reacting to Ava - such a great moment!

We rode Splash Mountain - so much fun! I can't even remember the last time I went on that ride. I love the look of sheer terror on Ava's face (she loved the ride, BTW). 

This was at the end of the night right before we left. As you can see, I was STILL wet from Splash Mountain. Gah! We were SO tired by the end of the night, but it was an awesome day. So glad we could share their special family time with them!
