Can I just say how much I was looking forward to seeing her? Keith and I have been talking about going to see it forever and we finally had the chance yesterday. Unfortunately, I haven't been quite so disappointed in a movie since Magic Mike was released.
Don't get me wrong - I think the story was an interesting concept. I think Joaquin did an amazing job
(as he basically carried the entire film on his shoulders) and I think the cinematography was great. But, overall, I just think it might have been better if it was, say, a short film, and not a film that pretty much wasted over two hours of my life.
On the flip side, I had no desire to see
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty initially, but I was pleasantly surprised by this film. What a fun little adventure!

Whew...thanks for saving ME two hours. I have been going back and forth..should I? Shouldn't I? I totally trust your critique of it. I think the SNL skit was probably more interesting than the actual movie. LOL
