You know, when this was first released in the theaters, I wasn't really moved to see it. Although it looked fine on all accounts, I wasn't blown away by the trailer, and even after James passed away and Julia earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role in the film, I still didn't particularly care to see it.
That all being said, I'm SO glad I decided to get this from Redbox the other day. What a great film! Why didn't I want to see it before? What the heck is wrong with me?
I mean, I love all the actors involved and I love Nicole Holofcener's films. I guess I didn't realize it was a love story or just how sweet and tender it would be. I thoroughly enjoyed the film and highly recommend anyone who's looking to rent a modern day romantic tale.
