Funny story - a few years ago, Heidels and I saw Christopher Abbott EVERYWHERE at Sundance. He seemed to be with every film cast, every celebrity, and at every place we went. He wore a hat similar to the one he's wearing in this picture, only it was maroon, and we even had a nickname for him - "Maroon Hat Guy" (yes, obviously, we're very clever). I think we assumed he was a friend of some celeb. Wrong.
Flash forward to this year when I'm researching pictures of the people in Sundance movies so that I can make us a handy reference sheet for when we're there
(don't judge me - it was very helpful!). As I go to find a picture of Christopher Abbott - who I'm dying to meet because I loved him on
Girls - I see, to my shock and horror, that he was, in fact, the "Maroon Hat Guy" of long ago. GAH! Obviously we saw him again this year
(as evidenced by my picture above) - I just wish he were nicer. And by nicer I mean even the
slightest bit nice. But, no matter. At least he did it, right?
