I have so many pictures and stories to tell from the wedding that I don't even know where to begin...so, I'll start at the beginning. Well, the beginning of the wedding weekend, that is.
Friday morning brought the arrival of three of my favorite girls in the entire world - Christi, Ginny, and Megan (or, as they should always be called, Crusty, Ginster, and Shmeg) - who were my roommates at BYU about a trillion years ago. This was the first time the four of us have been together since the winter of 1992 (!) - over 20 years!!! We started with breakfast at our local hangout by our house and the girls were afraid the sign said, "No mormons allowed" instead of "No morons allowed." Easy mistake to make.Although there was much to do, we took a moment to do a quick photo session near the beach. Priorities, right?
Keith even joined in on the fun!
Of course, then Keith and I had to show off our super fun shirts - Mr. Lovejoy for him and Mrs. Coogan for me.
The backsides were even better! The rest of the day was spent doing last minute preparations and I couldn't have been happier to have my girls with me. I don't know what I would've done without them and their help was immeasurable. Thank you, girls! Debra also came that day and was a huge help with the rehearsal dinner (as were my sister's family, my mom and step-dad, my friend Vicki and her husband, Tony, our friend, Gerry, and my dad). We had an enormous army of people helping and we couldn't be more grateful.
