A few weeks ago we went cake tasting and found the perfect cake. Now, the only problem was that the price kept changing and we couldn't figure out why. The price on the cake sheet said one price, but when we pressed, she added about $200 and said it was due to these fondant hearts we wanted. When I asked what the price would be without the fondant hearts, she said it was the price on the sheet. OK, cool. We said we'd be back.
Last night we went to try and order the cake on the sheet, as I'd bought the supplies to make the fondant hearts myself. The only problem? We had to deal with a new guy and this guy was a jerk. He apparently doesn't understand what a "price sheet" is, because he only wanted to charge us more and more. Not only did he want to charge $45 for frosting
(that's not included???), but another $45 for filling, as well. Um, what?!?! Needless to say, we will NOT be doing business with that crook.
So, now our wedding is just over a week away and we are without a cake. GAH! I'd make it myself, only I don't know how and I'm not sure my wedding cake is the time to learn. CRAP!!!
