Tony & Vicki's Wedding
Keith and I were lucky enough to be invited to be a part of my dear friend Vicki's special day this weekend.
It was a very small, intimate wedding and we were touched to be included.Vicki and I worked together at Sundance a million years ago and it was so great to watch her finally get her Happily Ever After with Tony.
The location they chose to get married was simply breathtaking.
I mean, words cannot even describe how majestic and beautiful the place was.
It had a stream, a giant house, a waterfall, a meadow....I mean, if you're into that kind of thing, I guess it was OK. :)
Here we are celebrating the happy couple.
With my old friend Scott who also worked with us at Sundance. Scott's actually the one who made the short film about me called "Pinky's Fandance" (you can see it on YouTube).
By the end of the night, we were a little word down from all of the activities of the day. How bloodshot were my eyes?!?!
I love this shot!
Cutting the cake.
Me and Miss Vick.
Two couples getting married within a month of each other!
Vicki and her granddaughter - too cute! So happy we could join them on their special day.
Pinky's Fandance - Bobby Cannavale
I've always loved Bobby Cannavale because he has such a wide range of roles that he takes. From his endearing turn on The Station Agent, to Will's cop boyfriend on Will & Grace, to his hard-nosed doctor on Nurse Jackie, it seems he can do no wrong.
Apparently the Television Academy agrees with me, as he was up for not one, but two Emmy awards and walked away with one. Congratulations, Bobby! Even better? He's very down to earth and has been nothing but kind every time I've met him. In our latest picture (seen above) he's waving hello to everyone. :)
Wedding Blanket
My latest crochet project was feverishly finishing a blanket I was making for Vicki and Tony, our friends who were married this weekend in Utah (and the reason we went to Utah to begin with).
While initially it felt like I had plenty of time, I ended up finishing it at 4 a.m. the night before the wedding. On the plus side, at least it got done, right? Here's the bride, Vicki, modeling it for us. I think she was a fan.
Also a fan? Sammy! He loved sleeping on it in the car on the drive to Utah.
Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition
Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Hey Tay-Tay - That's a shirt, sweetheart, and not a dress. Please make a note of it.Thanks for the shout out to my love, Keith Coogan, Jason! Loving the KC on your cap! :)
Doesn't Steve know I'll be going to Disneyland this next weekend!? Why did he go a week too early? Fail.
Nice disguise, Tina. I barely recognized you.
I don't know what it is about this ensemble I'm not loving. The lack of make-up? The boring hair? Hmmph.
Road Warriors
Big thanks to my dad for bringing us to Utah along with the adorable Sammy Rhodes.
Sadly, Sammy wasn't ready to pose for this picture. Wasn't quite ready for his close-up.While Sammy's a great road dog, even he gets bored of being in the car.
Keith was a trooper and drove both mine and his shifts in the car. Thank you, babe! Love the glasses!
Sammy passed out on Keith's jacket and snuggled up to it - it was pretty much the cutest thing ever. Oh, not to mention his tongue sticking out!
Sammy doesn't seem to be pleased with the freezing cold temperatures in Utah. Neither were we, bud!
Pinky's Fandance - Katie Aselton
Katie Aselton goes to Sundance pretty much every year and I either miss her or don't recognize her when she walks by. Fail.
Finally I had the chance to meet her at the Emmys this year and she was SO sweet! Love that color on her!
Engagement Party Friends
I have to say that our Engagement Party was very well attended. At least 50 people dropped by at some point - was so fun to see everyone! Here's a random sampling of some of the people who came. We tried to take pics with almost everyone who came (with the exception of I think just one person who snuck out).
This is Geri - creator of my amazing wedding shoes and the jacket I'll be wearing with my dress.Heidels herself!
McFamily!
Toni and her daugher, Jen.
Hooty and her man, John.
My BYU girls! Kimmie, Shmegan, and Debra.
Kimmie's super cute family.
Ang and Emma!
My cousin Netty and her hubby (who told us to stand up for the pic - hardy har har).
Inge, Tracie, and Betsey - cuties!
Sarah and her beautiful baby girl, Joyce. Such a good little baby! (Warning: Sneak peek of my wedding dress and jacket showing in picture)
Once again, our gracious hosts, Rick and Betsy.
