So, I'm going to give it to you straight: I haven't been digging The Office fpr a long time. Ever since Steve Carell left the show I've felt that it was missing something (its heart, maybe?) and I was pretty much done with it.
Because of that, it takes me a loooong time to get around to watching an episode...which is why I barely saw the finale of the show until yesterday. I'm happy to report that it was everything a fan would have hoped for and more. Nicely done, guys!
Not only did I love it and will most likely watch it over and over again, but I cried several times. It reminded me of why I loved the show to begin with and brought me back to the core of the characters I've grown to love. It was perfectly written, superbly acted, and stayed true to its roots while still tying everything up. I loved it and can't recommend it enough. Now if I only I could get around to watching the rest of the episodes from the last season....
