Yesterday I had the privilege of attending a screening of Keith's latest film, Waking, at the Dances With Films film festival in LA. We were bummed because we missed the actual premiere on Opening Night since we were in Knoxville, but since it sold out they added a second screening. Hooray!
I loved the film - it was beautifully shot and the casting was great. The main "dream girl," Nadia
(played by Meg Cionni) was amazing. I think she's going to be huge. She's just stunning onscreen.
Of course, I was most excited to be watching a movie that had my beloved fiancee in it - it was so cool to be sitting near him and watching him onscreen! I mean, I turned into a total fangirl when his name came up in the credits. I didn't even realize I was going to fangirl out so hard. Sadly, the flash was on on my phone so I looked like a disruptive guest. Oops.
After the screening the cast went up to the stage to do a brief Q&A - it was a lot of fun to watch.
Hopefully the film will be bought and released so that everyone can have a chance to enjoy it, as well. Great job everyone!
