Nick Rhodes, My Heart Still Beats For You
As we haven't had any news on my main man, Nick Rhodes, lately, I thought I'd fill you in with my heartbreaking devastation: He. Met. Someone. Nope, not me. Someone OTHER than me. Can you believe it?!?! Even worse? She was (oh, the horror), a fellow DURANIE, and they met backstage in Rome (my favorite city in the world). CURSES, I say! Curses!!!
I mean, seriously, how did this not happen to me? How did he not see me across the room, the stage, or the parking lot where I *may* have been camped out waiting for him, and realize he's my destiny? Doesn't he know you can't escape fate?! Nick, my love, please, by all means, have your fun. But when you're ready, when you're REALLY ready to settle down with a good woman who will love you for the rest of your life and take care of you and appreciates you for the genius that you are (I'm not saying she doesn't....I'm just saying I could do it better), please give me a call. I've loved you for 36 years and I'll love you forever. Your signature is tattooed on my skin, for heaven's sake. HOW MUCH MORE LOYAL AND DEVOTED COULD I POSSIBLY BE?!!? I love you. That is all.
Pinky's Fandance - Nicholas Hoult
Man, if you'd told me years ago that the awkward little kid from the adorable film About A Boy would grow up and become such a tasty treat, I never would've believed you.
Yet, here we are, years later, and Nicholas Hoult has indeed become a hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin' love. Already known for his roles in X-Men: First Class and A Single Man, Nicholas is sure to hit it big with the upcoming film Warm Bodies which looks awesome. Can't wait to see it.
Pressing Hello Kitty Updates
Come on, Pinky. Is there really a time when a Hello Kitty update is pressing? Well, apparently, the answer is YES.
First of all, when Googling myself yesterday (don't judge), I came up with a lot of Pinky Lovely stuff. Who knew this even existed? And with a mustache to boot? Fun fact: There's far more evidence of me when you Google "Nick Rhodes Pinky" than when you just Google "Pinky Lovejoy." True story. Pretty sure that means Nick Rhodes is my destiny. Tori Spelling threw one of her 235 kids a Hello Kitty party for her birthday. Lucky girl! I want a Hello Kitty party with a cake bigger than me. Sheesh.
McDonald's is currently offering Hello Kitty toys in their Happy Meals for girls. This one even winks (!). I had no idea Hello Kitty enjoyed painting. Thank you, McDonald's, for allowing me to purchase a toy without buying an entire meal. WINNING.
Finally, this is my brand new headset for all the time I spend talking on the phone in my car (thank you, Groupon). This will please Crush to no end as he hated the horrible huge headset I've been rocking - it looks like I'm the Starship Enterprise commander (Note: I don't really even know what that means, it just sounded good at the time).
Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition
Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
And now modeling items from the Gaps kids collection.....
I'd just like to point out that Amy's wearing the exact same hat she wore when we took a picture together last week. That is all.Why is Paul Rudd rocking the shag? And how freaking cute are Leslie and Judd? LOVE them.
Um, she seems to have some extra fabric to spare. Can't she hook a dog up? He must be freezing! His privates are all exposed!
Um, how many muppets had to die to make that jacket?

Well, These Are Handy
Um, this seems so obvious. Why didn't I think of it?
Linds, this one is obviously for you. That's a smart way not to lose your phone in your meal! :)
Pinky's Fandance - Jude Law
Ever since I first saw The Talented Mr. Ripley I've wanted Jude Law in my bed to meet Jude Law. When I found out he was going to be a on a local talk show, I jumped at the chance to go, despite the fact that I'd just come home from Sundance and probably should've just taken it easy. But, hello, it's JUDE LAW!!!!
When he first arrived, his car dropped him off right at the door and he didn't even wave. It didn't look good in terms of his coming over to the fans. Still, we waited, and hoped that when he left he'd be cool and come over. Sure enough, when the show ended, he came over to the waiting fans and went down the line signing autographs, taking pictures, and basically just making everyone's day. There wasn't anyone yelling at us, he wasn't rushed, and he didn't feel silly for wanting to meet him. He was genuine and kind. Way to go, Jude. You rock!
Sudden Bug
Last night I was all set to attend a movie premiere when I suddenly got ridiculously tired, had a sore throat, and wanted nothing more than to be home and in bed.
Oh, did I mention being nauseous? Yeah, fun times. Needless to say I went to bed around 8 o'clock. Wahoo! I'm a wild woman. Today I'm feeling marginally better. At least I'm out of bed. Let's home that was the extent of my dumb little flu.
Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition
Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Yowsa. Somebody cleans up nice.
Hey Kate, my junior high wardrobe called. They'd like their outfit back.
Hmmm. Let's see....she's single. He's single. If it can't be me with Bradley (please let me be with Bradley), then I support this pairing 1000% percent.
I'm sorry, but why was Justin even doing at the SAG awards? And did he borrow that jacket from his Chess coach?
Alec seems to be the victim of a low-flow shower. Yikes.

Sundance Friends
After the celebs fled the Festival, there wasn't much to do in town aside from working my last shifts and heading down to SLC to see some friends. Before I left town, I had a few more fun times in PC & SLC.
Here are me and Heidels on our last day of "hunting" in Park City.My girl, Brittany, and I on our last shfit together.
My main guy, Pants. Love.
One of my longtime "bosses" at the Festival - Phil (no, not the one who messed up my schedule).
My new Sundance crush, Andrew.
My dear friend Rachelle from "lame job" - we had lunch before I left.
Sammy and I stopped to see Tracie before hitting the road. Great to see her!
Our last stop before the murky roads...Debra and Little Miss! Krispy Kreme donuts for the win! :)
Pinky's Fandance - Will Ferrell
Oh my gosh, you guys, you don't even know how long I've been trying to get a picture with Will Ferrell. Seemingly FOREVER and he's so hit and miss, I was actually kinda scared about asking him for a picture last night. You know those people who you love SO MUCH that you can't stand thinking of them being mean to you? Yeah, that was me last night. If Will was mean to me, it would have broken my heart. After some much needed encouraging, I decided I had to try - what could it hurt, right? All he could do was say no.
To my surprise and delight, when I asked him for a photo, instead of the expected, "I'm in a hurry;" "No, thank you;" or just plain, "NO," Will replied, "Sure." Um, WHAT?! Sure?!!? You don't even know how many stories I've heard about people getting turned down by Will in the past...but I get a sure?!!? Wahoo! The mustache is kind of amazing. I think he's filming Anchorman 2 right now, hence the 'stache. So stoked!
See This: Before Midnight
While I freely admit to completely failing at watching movies at Sundance this year, I did get to see the one film I was dying to see: Before Midnight. Yes, I was super bummed that Ethan Hawke didn't attend the premiere, but it didn't detract me from my undying love for this film franchise. I adore this film series; I adore these characters; and I was more than happy to reconnect with what feels like "old friends."
Like the two films before these, Before Midnight is centered around Jesse and Celine, a pair of star-crossed lovers, if you will, who are now raising twins and trying to make their relationship work after nine years together (having only spent two nights together in the 18 years before that). While I was excited to see them interacting with other people at a dinner, the real meat of the story happens in the last hour when they go to a hotel and end up fighting all night. The film is realistic - maybe a little too realistic at times - and it completely and totally portrays a couple trying to make it work in "the real world." I love these two and have missed them. I love hearing their arguments, their discussions, their thoughts. I could watch them all day long.
If you haven't watched the first two films, Before Sunset and Before Sunrise, I highly recommend rushing out to get them immediately. Then you'll be more than prepared to enjoy the wonder that is Before Midnight. It's perfection. I loved it.
Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition
Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Is Channing trying to use those water bottles as weights? I just want you to know, Harry, that my love for you is deep and true. That is all.
Because every day is a day for deely boppers! So cute!
Um, what is going on with Renner's hair? It seems to be morphing into Christopher Walken territory.
Holy cuteness, Nicole. Look at those little cherubs!
