Yesterday I woke up way too early for a Saturday morning to play in a big ball tournament to benefit Down Syndrome Awareness. Crush's adorable niece, Luci, was the star of the show.
Because I had Sammy with me, I didn't take many pictures during the day, and didn't take any when we were playing our big ball games, but it was a lot of fun. Big ball is like softball, but the balls are even bigger! I had a few hits and had a nice time playing with fellow co-workers. I even won some tickets to Disneyland in the raffle!

I forgot to mention that after my brother's on Friday night I stopped by my friend Ashkan's place to drop off a present I'd made him. I always love seeing my friend Ash.
After the big ball tournament, I was able to make it to the funeral of my friend Curtis' dad who passed away last week. I'd met Curtis long ago through some friends at church and they happened to be at the funeral, as well.
Danny was sitting in front of me at the service and I didn't even recognize him until after! So good to see them both, even if it was under sad circumstances.
