I have loved Chris Messina since he was Ted on Six Feet Under and then Ira on Ira & Abby. He's one of those often looked over actors because he's in so many great things, but sometimes flies under the radar. Still, if you take a closer look, he's on everything.
Right now he's not only on
Newsroom, but
The Mindy Project, as well. I think he's amazing and have always wanted to meet him. To my surprise and delight, when I approached Matt Ross for a picture last night
(he played Alby on Big Love), Chris Messina just happened to be sitting nearby. Score!
