As I mentioned previously, I had the good fortune of being able to see The Book of Mormon Broadway play on Opening Night. To be honest, I was a little afraid of seeing it (having been raised Mormon and all).
Overall I really liked it - the music was fun, the humor was great, and there were only a few times I cringed while watching it (things hitting a little too close to home perhaps?). In case you didn't know, this play was written by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the funny guys behind the South Park cartoon.
Matt Stone was walking around the lobby and I was lucky enough to get a picture with him.
Likewise, Trey Parker was happily posing with fans in the lobby. Yay.
These were the original guys from the play.
I met Josh Gad in the lobby and immediately thought he would've been perfect in that role...come to find out he originated it on Broadway! DUH.
