I'm the first one to admit that I'm not really into the Olympics. Doesn't do it for me. I don't know why. Don't judge me. However, there was a time, back in 1984, that they were still intriguing to me. Maybe it's because they were in LA and the torch went through my town? Whatever the reason, I will always remember the main players of those Games - especially Mary Lou Retton and Greg Louganis.
Greg has been at several events lately, but I keep missing him. That is, until the other night when I was keeping my friend company at an event downtown and we saw Greg leaving a play. Score! Greg was very cool and didn't seem weirded out by a crazed pink girl jetting over to him for a picture. Thanks, Greg!
