While I'm sure you've already marked it on your calendars, the 10th anniversary of my 29th birthday is rapidly approaching. Now, I am not one who likes to ignore my birthday, or pretend it doesn't exist. I think it should be celebrated, celebrated, and then celebrated some more.
The bummer part is that this year my birthday falls on Mother's Day. While I appreciate the fact that I was technically born on Mother's Day, I hate when my birthday falls on it now. When I was married and had step-kids, it was a joint celebration Mother's Day/Birthday. Dis-like! Now that I'm old(er) and practically everyone I know has kids, I'm afraid they're all going to think it's THEIR day and forget to worship, er, I mean celebrate, ME. I can't even go out to dinner that day because the restaurants will be way too crowded. BLURGH!!!!
