My apologies for the lack of updates over the weekend, but my mom was visiting and that took the majority of my time.
The highlight of the trip was probably when she surprised my niece with her wildest dream come true - some new American Girl Doll
(and, yes, they still creep me out). Still, the look on her face was priceless and she proceeded to carry the doll around with her the rest of the day.

From left to right - my mom, me, Phoe, and my sister, Erin. Fun times! It was a great visit - we laughed, we shopped, we played with Sammy. A good time had by all.
