Stop Texting During Movies!!!

I simply cannot say this enough: STOP texting during movies. I don't know why anyone thinks it's OK to do so - it's not. It's NEVER ever ever OK. If you have an emergency where you need to constantly be available via cell phone, then wait for the movie to come out on DVD. You just don't need to go to the movies at all if something else is that important. Have some common courtesy for other people. Last night there were no less than six people actively texting during Twilight. Sure, it was a terrible film and they were probably bored, but I don't want my eyes diverted to their screens continuously throughout the film. That sucks. I wish someone would invent some sort of shocking device or a BB gun that I can shoot across the theater so that anyone texting during a movie would knock it off. That would rule. I'm not necessarily trying to hurt them, but they need to know that it's NOT OK to be so blatantly rude. Yes, I know it shouldn't have to resort to violence, but aside from checking phones at the door, someone must be done. It's out of control. Stop the insanity!
