AT&T: FAIL (and Win!)

To my horror, my latest AT&T bill was upwards of $500. That's right. $500. WTF?!?! Come to find out that my stupid little investment into the AT&T Mi-Fi hotspot thing was the most expensive mistake ever. Not only did they charge me an activation fee (the same one they said they'd waive), but they charged me a $150 cancellation fee. Interesting, as there was no mention of that when I called to see if I could return the P.O.S. I knew there'd be a restocking fee, and expected to have some data charges for the brief time we used it, but other than that, I thought I was in the clear. Luckily, whoever picked up the phone at AT&T was a saint and credited back all the erroneous charges - even my data usage! My monthly bill is now around $100 as it should be. Phew! Thanks, AT&T for having a rock star worker....she was able to combat your Major Billing Fail with a smile and took care of all my issues. WIN!
