My Love Letter to Pretty in Pink

This is an album cover from the soundtrack from Pretty in Pink. Not only is it an amazing soundtrack, but it features this great shot from one of my fave movies, Pretty in Pink. It's true - it's not in the greatest condition. But, that's only because of my love for both the soundtrack and the film. It's been hanging in every single place I've lived since the movie came out. I finally have it framed in an album frame, but I'm afraid the damage had been done long ago. Here's the back - you can see various types of adhesives still stuck to it. Mikey told me I should toss it out and get a new one, but I like to think of it as a badge of honor. It's a love letter to Pretty in Pink and shows my dedication to being surrounded by its image. While I was lucky enough to get another picture with Jon Cryer at the Emmys, I was halfway wishing I had the album cover with me to get signed. But I didn't have to wait long, as Jon Cryer received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday and I was over to rush over at lunch and get his signature. Hooray! Now, if only I could find Molly or Andrew.....maybe someday.
